BLOCK71 Singapore Entrepreneur Feature — AImazing
In this week’s Entrepreneur Feature, we speak to Jun Ting, the CEO of AImazing, a startup aiming to digitise receipts and itemising data for businesses to better understand their customers.
- What is AImazing and how did it come about?
At AImazing, we digitise offline receipts in real time during the checkout process. We have two main features which is we do not need to integrate to a POS and we can get itemised data from the offline receipt.
Even the payment industry today can’t get the itemised data, so we help businesses, shopping malls, banks, government, to have a complete customer profile through knowing itemised data of customer purchases.
2. What is your secret sauce?
We developed a great technology and we patented it, but I believe what is most important are the team members. I am proud to say that we have a great team, that works hard, bonds well with each other, have great talent, and we all share a common vision. This is main reason why AImazing is where it is today and will continue to work towards our goal.
3. What’s next for AImazing?
We are very proud to announce that we will go live in September this year with 200 merchants at one shopping mall. At the same time, we are discussing with a few businesses in Singapore and other countries. We are very fortunate that some of the foreign government officials are keen to use AImazing’s solutions solve their current problems.
4. What are some of the better memories at BLOCK71?
I really enjoy the community at BLOCK71. Having a lot of startups that are working hard to solve problems together makes it a very cool and special experience. I really enjoy the journey and am very happy to be a part of BLOCK71.
5. What are some of the challenges you have faced?
As I mentioned earlier, a team is very important for a startup. Finding the right talent to join us is always the challenge for us. If you are the talent we are looking for, please come and join us.
