Odd Google Auto-fills We Found While Asking Start-up Questions
Google is our best friend when it comes to answering our questions. It has served numerous people all over the world and has received a wide variety of queries from “restaurant near me” to “why are men from venus and women from mars”. With Google’s predictive auto-fill in their search bar, the search engine can occasionally provide some odd yet entertaining insights on what others have been searching up. Here are some search terms we tried inputting into Google while trying to answer some tech startup questions:

Striking it out on your own can be tough. While figuring out how to start a business in Singapore, it might also be useful to get tips on quitting procrastination and staying awake as well. 😂
2. What is Blockchain?
Blockchain can be a hard concept to grasp for the uninitiated. Thus it’s no surprise that it ends up on one of the more frequently searched “what is” questions. However, accompanying it are a wide variety of interesting questions ranging from ip addresses to dieting strategies.
3. Machine Learning
Similar to the blockchain, machine learning is another hot topic in the start-up scene. On our way to searching about machine learning, we came across interesting figures like Machine Gun Kelly and even Pokémon strategies — “machamp best moveset”. Get that groove on.
4. How do you spell entrepreneur?
Spelling can be difficult at times. However, with the rise of the digital age, we no longer have to resort to flipping through dictionaries to find out the exact spelling of a word. Siri and Google seem to be the best companions to aid users in spelling the more difficult words. It’s seemingly odd to see Siri in a google query, but it also suggest that voice search is has become a thing of a present! 🎤
5. List of angel investors
Funding is important for a start-up and angel investors are but one of the solutions to that problem. Finding a list of them is useful for scouting out who to pitch to, but you would have to be at least curious as to how large the list of Angelina Jolie films would be.

Predictive auto fills can be funny and sometimes disturbing but it gives one an insight on what the masses are searching for and what are some of the real questions that people have and where tech startups can really come in and add value, by answering real questions.
