The Master of Science in Venture Creation (MSVC) community came 兔gether (pronounced tu-gether) for a colourful Lo Hei and Fruits Party on 29 January 2023, tossing up abundance and ushering in the new year with words of prosperity. It was great to have finally gathered all 3 batches of MSVC students and alumni in person since the programme launched in 2020.

Professor Yue Chee Yoon, Academic Director of the MSVC programme, kicked off the party by extending a warm welcome to everyone. He shared that these get-togethers are great opportunities for the diverse community to learn more about one another, as well as immerse in the traditions, quirks and perks we love about Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Professor Chee Yeow Meng, NUS Vice Provost of Technology-Enhanced and Experiential Learning, also took the chance to shed light on exciting experiential learning and innovation initiatives.

The celebration was filled with joy, laughter and good cheer. “We had a great time connecting and exchanging innovation ideas with our MSVC seniors. As an international student, it was also my first time tasting the different types of durians in Singapore”, said Robbie Yang Songhao (Class of 2023).
